Kitchen Clean in 15 minutes

Kitchen Clean in 15 minutes
Cleaning your kitchen in 15 minutes (or less) really can be done. It is so important to have a clean kitchen. Kitchens need to be deep cleaned and disinfected regularly to maintain the health of your family (and friends).

FIRST -
Gather any supplies you need to clean your kitchen. I find it extremely helpful to have a caddy with all of my supplies in it IN the room that needs to be cleaned. In my kitchen caddy I keep Blue Dawn Dish Soap (a small bottle that I refill), stainless steel cleaner, disinfectant cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, microfiber cloths, sponge, scrub brush, sink scrub, Clorox wipes, & windex).

SECOND -
To make sure you use your time efficiently, I recommend using a timer. This is a great way to manage your time more wisely! You will find you stay on task so much easier. Make it a challenge and try to get more and more done within that time. Turn on some music and jam!!

THIRD -
Dishwasher needs to be unloaded every night before bed, if possible. I have children that have this task. If it isn't done before bed then it HAS to be done before they leave for school. This makes KEEPING the dishes out of the sink so much easier.

FOURTH -
The last thing you do before bed should be shining up your kitchen! When you are actually cleaning your kitchen, finishing off with a clean sink will make you FEEL like you have completed the cleaning!

FIFTH -
All surfaces need to be cleaned - this includes islands, counters, tables, chairs, etc. Leave nothing left to wipe down. All crumbs and clutter put away properly.

SIXTH -
Trash needs to be taken out. This will remove any unwanted smells from your home before they can seep into your fabric.

SEVENTH -
Quick sweep or vacuum of the floor. This is also a chore that children are more than capable of doing. One last sweep before lights out. Makes a huge difference to how everyone feels in the morning.

EIGHTH -
Put out fresh towels and remove the sullied ones to the laundry room. Just having fresh towels can make your kitchen feel fresher. Replace any towels or dishrags that have holes or are dingy. Allocate the dingier ones to your cleaning in.

No matter how big or small your kitchen is, here's to cleaning it in 15 minutes!

Make it a great one!
